An Uncertain Life

A ghastly fog creeps in out of the blue,
Nicely stuck and hard to pull through.
Winter storms shouldn’t be a surprise,
But sometimes the hard strikes bulldoze the highs.

A simple mind throws the obvious questions,
Why a red line when you expect a sunshine?
Confusions sink in when you wrestle with time,
As the frailty of flesh seeks to flail to the finish line.

You don’t get half the things you want, do you?
What’s in this for me? Why should I pursue?
Well, maybe just maybe there is a bigger picture,
Temporal losses can be compensated for the better.

How can one be so sure? Honestly, I don’t know,
Except that the divine love on the cross urges you to hold.
How can one sit tight in a train wreck and not be mad?
If you can fully read till here, after all your patience isn’t bad.

Keep smiling!
